Vintage style meets a terrific attitude for both work and play in this 1994 Ford F-150 XLT 4×4
So check out the fuel-injected V8, overdrive transmission, loaded A/C interior, and all the other features that make this long bed a versatile classic.
This is a two-tone premium XLT truck with bright chrome bumpers, a front bug guard, and an imposing stance. So there’s an instant appeal here, and for those who like real trucks, it goes deeper. This was given a respray later in life, but it has aged enough now to give you the beginnings of patina. And the premium XLT trim is also starting to patina. It’s a cool reminder that these are the new generation of true classic pickups. But if that’s not to your tastes, the value price also should leave room in your budget for improvements and/or personalization. But we think it fits this one correctly today. After all, it has the look of a truck that likes to get to work. There are extras like top running lights, a proper trailer hitch, and liner paint in the versatile long bed. In fact, we bet you also spotted the gooseneck in the bed. It all has that feeling of the truck you saw coming the other way on any two-lane country road.
The interior reminds you of all the desirable features that you get on a premium XLT. That means a bench seat with a fold-down armrest and power bolstering for maximum comfort. It has the best amenities with power windows, power locks, sliding rear glass, tinted windows, and cold-blowing air conditioning. The stereo has even been upgraded to an AM/FM/CD unit with USB and Bluetooth for the best in modern driving music. You also have a driver’s airbag, tilt steering column, and a full gauge package with handy tach.
Under the hood is Ford’s hardy 5.0-liter V8. It’s unknown if the odometer reflects the full actual mileage, but the way this fuel-injected machine fires up and runs tells you this has received the proper care and maintenance. This is a true 4×4, but it also has the modern comfort of a push-button two-speed transfer case. Plus, power steering and power brakes w/front discs are welcomed on both the street and trail. This one was truly made for the long haul with dual fuel tanks, cruise control, a four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive.
